Beban Park Pitch & Putt (Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada)
Harvey and Priscilla Hurd, along with the City of Nanaimo, opened the Beban Park Pitch 'n Putt golf course with 9 holes on May 1st, 1999. The second 9 holes was opened in May of 2000. Ross Rivers (Vista Golf Designs) was the construction contractor for the golf course. Part of the construction project included the walking trail around the perimeter of the golf course.
In April 2011, a full length driving range was opened with 21 mats and several under cover. There is also a grass hitting area, a short game practice area which includes a sand trap and a practice green.
With the opening of the driving range, the golf course became an 11 hole pitch 'n putt course.
